Lumecca is an intense pulsed light photofacial. It targets the brown of sun damage and the red of rosacea and broken capillaries, and leaves the surrounding skin alone.
We treat the face, neck, décolleté, hands and arms, anywhere sun damage shows. Dark spots often darken briefly, then flake away over a few days.
Lumecca is generally used on lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III). For deeper complexions we will recommend a more appropriate alternative. It is best done on untanned skin, so we favour autumn through early spring.
